Every year more than 3,000 Australians die by suicide, devastating their families and friends. Another 65,000 attempt to take their own lives.

Tomorrow, Sunday 25th Feb, I'll be taking part in Paddle Across The Bay to raise funds for the counselling service, Lifeline. Every 30 seconds, a person in Australia reaches out to Lifeline for help.

Monday 19th Feb

After many excellent training paddles on beautiful Aura Vale Lake and off blissful Balnarring Beach, we're ready to Paddle Across The Bay this Saturday! Weather permitting - and after last week when a 20-minute cyclonic storm wreaked havoc on our homes, that could mean anything. Praying for a calm morning and a fun ride on the SUPs, but either way we will get it done. Thanks so much to our families for putting up with our absences and our blather about winds, wetsuits and sharks!
